From Rey "I" to Juan "I" and to David "I", our new downgraded king for the month of December, will be our Scot... Speito "I"! He will serve the "throne" until January 5th, 2025 when our last downgraded king sworms in.

The monthly new e-citizens list has been released! If you are not listed here, you did not become one, which means your application got rejected. Forms after December 2nd have not been reviewed yet, you will have to wait for next year in January of 2025!

Say goodbye to the Kingdom of Hugia soon. Since I ratified Project Transition, we will become a Grand Republic on January 29, 2025.

The goal of this important document is that if it's ratified, Hugia's monarchy will be abolished. Yes, you read that correctly. January 29, 2025, could be one of the most important dates in Hugian history. This document will be changed, so don't expect everything to be final.

You may have to say goodbye to the Kingdom of Hugia and welcome the Grand Republic of Hugia.

The Royal Hugian Armed Forces were founded a year ago on this day, November 16. We have 219 personnel ready to defend our country. Except it's run by toy soldiers... Something is better than nothing.

After a full year of operations, East Tawil is no longer a thing of Hugia. It is a thing of the past and you as an individual or micronation can claim it all if you want.

We are also not endorsing anyone of our former claim. It's a thing of our past, and we no longer care about it. Hugia is not sponsoring the former East Tawilian flag being used for other micronational things.

November 11, 2024 - Henry V., PMOH

It is Independence Day 2024. Exactly one year ago, on November 11, 2023, Hugia has been independent ever since. Ever since we raised the previous Hugian flag in Veetria, we've accomplished many great things (as always) and will continue to live on. Thanks to ALL that have supported Hugia, as I, the prime minister, am very grateful to see it all. To our second Independence Day, Hugia will continue to live on! 

Long live Hugia!

Yesterday, I created a new role that gave me "less power". Although I currently reserve it, it might be given to someone else in the future.

Welcome the role of Grand Governor (Grand Governor of Hugian counties & special territories).

In simple terms, think of it as like a principal of a school and that there's a superintendent. Those principals of the schools are the governors of said county/special territory. The superintendent is the Grand Governor of all counties/special territories, which oversees them.

Check back tomorrow since it is a BIG day in our Hugian calendar!

It has been 4 years since we adopted our national flag. The iconic tricolor of yellow, green, and orange has been in use flying fictionally and realistically. Fun fact, the flag on the right (the last Republic flag) was designed in the U.S. state of Arizona and not in Hugia's state of Oregon. Business will continue to go on as usual.

The coat of arms has been refreshed! After 9 months, our coat of arms has not been changed. But today, that streak has been reset. I can confidently say that this is our new national coat of arms and will be until time tells it to be changed. You can learn more about why it was replaced here.

What happened to the de facto citizenship rank? Well, it still exists, it's just that no one has it anymore. Everyone who was a de facto citizen has had it automatically downgraded. The same rules and benefits apply to this citizenship 'pass' or whatever you'd like to call it. We'll give more details later when we discuss our Great Hugian Plan.

From Lyric "I" to Rey "I", our new downgraded king for the month of October, will be... Juan "I"! He is the current king of his own micronation, Matagorda (flag on the left on desktop or top on mobile), and now he can kind of be king of two micronations!

It has been 4 years since we took our micronation to another level. Going from virtual to fictional. We were established as a republic. Business will continue to go on as usual.

Today is Bobbo's Day, a national holiday in Hugia. It is to celebrate the birth of the creation of an important fictional character that led our country during the fantasy era. Business will be going on as usual. 

Our next holiday will be in exactly a week (7 days), Republic Day!

Well folks, the month of September still keeps filling up Hugia's empty spaces. Our official national bird is now the Canadian Goose since we keep seeing these critters. It is nice when they visit our Kingdom. The geese are the next national symbol for our nation.

Having one official language is not enough. To diversify our languages, we have made American English and British English official to Hugia. This will be revolutionary.

September 21, 2024 - Henry V., PMOH

Since July 5, 2023, the only official currency we have had was the United States Dollar. Now, the USD is going to not be alone anymore. We will officially re-adopt the Hug, which was an old currency we had before July 5, 2023. The exchange rate is simple. 1 Hug will equal to 2 United States Dollars. We'll make all the bills and designs later as that will take a while. That will be our new currency, welcome back Hug!

Soon we are going to be moving URLs within the next 48 hours. Now everything is going to be done a lot easier. Plus, we added a visit page and calendar page. More pages and information are going to be added within the site. The site will expand a lot within the future now that we have our own domain. :)

UPDATE - Turns out the URL has already been moved a lot faster than I expected. Now it's official. Sweet!
