Diplomacy

The Grand Republic of Hugia is a sovereign, independent nation. We are interested in exploring informal relations with other countries.

Ever since we declared independence back in November of 2023, there hasn't been a complete diplomatic policy. This means we aren't interested in the diplomatic side of things for now. The reason why we rarely talk diplomatically is due to many micronations being fictional, joking, fake, won't last long, and WAY too many requests.

Our policy is easy to understand: We will be friendly toward all other nations, but we will not entertain formal relations. This precludes treaties, embassies, or alliances of any kind. They are unnecessary. You don't need to be recognized by Hugia or anyone else to be sovereign, any more than you need to be recognized by a larger nation to be sovereign. If you state your sovereignty, that is good enough for our government, as it should be for all.

It is very important to know that we are not an isolationist micronation. We accept friendly informal relations with all nations, macro and micro.
