What is the Executive Branch?

Overview

The head of government and state is the Prime Minister, with most of the power in office.  The prime minister and deputy prime minister are elected by the permanent citizens of Hugia quinquennially (every 5 years).  The founder of Hugia (Henry V.) will stand above the constitution as incumbent prime minister and be in absolute power, meaning that Hugia is currently a constitutional benevolent dictatorship under him. After he leaves office, this will no longer apply to our government as a whole.

Who's Apart of the Executive Branch?

People who are apart of the executive branch are (in order from highest to lowest):

1. Prime Minister

2. Deputy Prime Minister

3. Head of Cabinet

4. Ministers/deputy ministers of government ministries

5. Employees of government ministries

Powers and duties

• The prime minister can appoint and dismiss anyone from office, except for the elected deputy prime minister. 

• Any territory from any micronation or macronation can be claimed by the prime minister. 

• Amendments to this constitution can be amended by the approval of the Head of Cabinet. 

• The Head of Cabinet has to approve the prime minister’s declaration of war against another party. 

• Treaties can be drafted and signed by the prime minister. 

• The cabinet is picked and chosen by the elected prime minister. 

• The Commander-in-Chief of the Grand Hugian Armed Forces is the prime minister.
